I went to Arctic Comic Con here and, umm, the venue was actually kept clean for how busy it was. The bathrooms did get a little messy later in the day, but it seemed like the staff were doing their best to keep up. Overall, I had a good experience

I checked out arcticcomiccon.com mostly to see who they had on the guest list. There were a few names I recognized and liked, but nothing that really made me feel like I had to go. A couple of the guests felt kind of random too, like something was a bit off with the lineup overall. Not bad by any means, just average for me. I’d maybe still go if I was already in the area, but the guest lineup by itself didn’t really sell me this time.

I really liked the vendor selection this year. There was a nice mix of comics, art, collectibles, and just random fun stuff to look through, which made it feel worth checking out every booth. The prices seemed fair too, at least from what I saw, so I felt good about buying a couple things without wondering if I was overpaying. I even found a few items I wasn’t expecting, which was a nice surprise...

I went to the autograph session and, from what I could tell, it was organized well. The staff seemed to keep the line moving at a decent pace, though there was one point where the wait got a little confusing and I wasn’t totally sure what was going on. I can’t speak for everyone’s experience, but mine was mostly positive overall

One of the biggest reliefs was that there were actually plenty of seats when I went. I’m used to comic cons being this exhausting mess where you’re stuck standing around forever, trying to find some random corner to rest for five minutes. But this time, I didn’t have to deal with that nearly as much, and it made the whole day way less stressful. It sounds like a small thing, but after walking around for hours, having a place to sit makes a huge difference. Happy with that part, honestly.

I got confused because the instructions weren’t very clear, which was a bit annoying. Thankfully, they helped me quickly once I reached out, so that part was good. I just wish the communication had been easier to understand from the start.

I was disappointed with the lack of updates, although I kept wondering if maybe I was just looking in the wrong place. I checked a few times expecting clearer info, but everything felt kind of vague. The messages that did come through were slow and didn’t really answer much. For an event site, I’d expect the communication to be a lot better.

The site worked okay overall, but I didn’t feel super comfortable entering my personal info. A few pages looked kind of outdated, and by the time I got to checkout I was already mentally drained and second-guessing whether it was safe. Maybe everything is totally fine, but it just made me nervous.

I had a really good time here overall. The atmosphere was super fun, kind of lively and easy to settle into, if that makes sense. It did get crowded at times though, so… yeah, not always the easiest to move around or fully relax. Still a fun spot

The photo op was fun, and the staff did a good job keeping the line moving. It did feel a little rushed, especially for what you’re paying, but the picture turned out really nice. I’d probably do it again if the price felt worth it.

Mostly went for the panels. They were really good. Guests felt relaxed, and the moderators kept things moving without making it awkward. Nice mix of programming too, not just superheroes all day. I liked the smaller fandom and creator talks. A couple panels started late, and one room filled up fast. Still had a good time...

I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re bringing kids. It just didn’t feel geared toward families at all, which was disappointing. Like, if a place seems like it should be okay for everyone but then clearly isn’t kid-friendly… make it make sense.

The bathrooms were okay and mostly kept clean, which I appreciated. The main issue was that there didn’t seem to be enough near the main hall, so the lines got annoying when it was busy. I expected things to move a bit faster, especially during peak times. More signs would also help people find the other restrooms quicker.

The snacks were good, honestly. I might be a little picky about drink prices, but the drinks felt way too expensive for what they were. I’d probably grab a snack again, but I’d skip the drinks next time.

The ticket prices felt fair to me, honestly. We got to see loads while we were there, and I never had that feeling of being ripped off or overcharged... just a really decent experience overall.

I had to cancel my tickets, and to be fair, the refund did eventually come through. It just took longer than I expected, especially compared to other booking sites I’ve used where the process feels a bit quicker and clearer. Support did reply, but not exactly fast. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience, but I do think the cancellation steps could be easier to understand.

Went to Arctic Comic Con i do that quick mental checklist for venues: can I park close, can I figure out where to go, and am I stuck in a giant line forever? This one passed easily. Parking was nearby, the signs made sense, and getting inside didn’t take ages. My friend uses a mobility aid too, and moving around wasn’t really an issue for them. Just a super smooth day overall. I’d definitely go again.

Getting around the venue was easy. We found the main areas without much trouble, though wait, some of the signs near the smaller rooms could’ve been bigger because we did have to stop and double-check a couple times. The staff were helpful when we asked, so it wasn’t a big deal. Overall, it felt straightforward and not too stressful

I thought the sound and lights were really good, especially for the kind of event it was. Everything came through clearly, and the lighting looked great without any weird dark spots messing up photos. For what we needed, it worked really well
